Karen Taylor was formerly the lead singer and guitarist for the popular all-female band And Sometimes Y. Karen has been a member of the Live Wire Band for six years. she has also been nominated for best female pop vocalist .

Maureen makes up the 2nd part of our twin duo and is the newest member to the Live Wire Band joining nearly four years ago. She brings with her extensive training in vocal music performance. Maureen has performed in several musical theater productions and has performed as the lead vocalist for both a jazz quartet and a big-band orchestra. Her song repetoire is broad and extends from popular standards to modern selections.

John Little is a music graduate from the University of Buffalo. He has also attended Suny at Fredonia with a concentration in music performance. John is an experienced pianist and keyboardist, as well as a lead singer. He also doubles on trumpet to add to the Live Wire sound. He was a former nominee for Best Keyboardist.

Jim Battistoni is a dynamic guitarist who provides tasty guitar licks to get the party in full gear. Jim is also a fine lead singer and a former member of the popular bands Kixx and Fantasy. Jim has been a member of Live Wire for 12 years and has over 30 years of professional experience. Jim is an accomplished player in many styles including rock, blues, funk, jazz, and more.

Jim has toured with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, played with the Goo Goo Dolls, the Ten Thousand Maniacs and The Duke's, sailed with Carnival Cruise Lines and the Delta Queen Steamboat Co., and also traveled with Circus America. He has performed at Woodstock '99, toured in the Middle East, Eastern and Western Europe (including the Azure Islands) and South East Asia. He has recorded with Greg Lake performed as a sideman for people such as the Four Freshmen, The Pied Pipers, Trini Lopez, Rich Little and Johnny Mathis and opened for such groups as The Average White Band, Peter Frampton, Kim Mitchell, Jan and Dean, Lee Greenwood, The Impressions, Bobby Blue Bland and The New Temptations.

Bob Carr performed in a number of popular local and traveling bands. Bringing his vast experience in a wide variety of musical settings. Bob keeps the music and dancers moving as Live Wire's drummer and vocalist. he shows his versatility by doubling on trumpet and trombone...while on drums!!

The LIVE WIRE BAND performs a wide variety of songs, from dance and party favorites to a variety of standards, cocktail music, and traditional selections for wedding or special celebration.
